Urgent Appeal for Twin Babies in Critical Care
We, Sai Sparsh Children’s Hospital, would like to acknowledge that Soch Foundation is currently raising funds for the treatment of twin babies of Mr. Mangesh Prabhu, born at just 26 weeks (Extreme Preterm).
Both babies are suffering from Extremely Low Birth Weight (ELBW), Severe Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), Sepsis, Early NEC, and Feed Intolerance, and are on ventilatory support with intensive NICU care.
The father is a daily wage earner, and the mother is a housewife. The sudden arrival of critically ill premature twins has placed an unbearable emotional and financial burden on the family. The estimated cost of treatment is ₹6–7 lakhs for each baby, making it extremely difficult for the family to continue life-saving care.
